CASE STUDY – KIRSH CHIROPRACTIC
Dr Dimitro Kirsh runs Kirsh Chiropractic based in Melbourne. They specialise in helping patients with injuries or who are suffering from chronic pain by improving posture and addressing the root cause, rather than just providing symptomatic pain relief.
Dr Kirsh wanted to up-level his online presence and accentuate his point of difference by adding a business introduction to his website, along with creating a number of explainer videos share knowledge and to establish credibility and subject authority.
WHAT WE DID
Dr Kirsh provided me with a number of script ideas, which I helped to restructure and refine. For example, I always encourage business owners to start their intro with something interesting or thought provoking to helps to drive action. In this example, we went with sharing the observation that for some people, living with pain may actually be a choice.
We also focused on sharpening the script by retaining not what we wanted to say, but only what people needed to hear to make a decision. And of course, we kept the language as natural and conversational as possible.
For this shoot, since we had a written script, we use a teleprompter which helped speed up the filming process. (And Dr. Kirsh was pretty good at not appearing to be reading, which is a great skill to have!). We also invited a number of people to represent his ideal clients for the shoot, and capture additional visuals to showcase the technology he uses to scientifically measure and track progress.
With the logo animation, since it contains a spine and the business is all about improving posture, it was only natural to show an improving posture as part of the branding animation. (I don’t like using random logo templates!)
The videos were delivered within around 2 weeks from the completion of filming. They were accepted without any changes required, which was a great result for everybody.
